Important: Please Contact Us if you can provide ANY additional Historical Information about this car.

Note: Due to scarcity - not all equipment on car may be period correct. Certain items may need to be reproduced or sourced over the next few years. Your help in this process is requested & appreciated.

Since the car was raced over 2 decades a year had to be chosen to restore the car to - the year chosen was 1983 - the year Nick Fornoro Jr. won the ARDC Championship driving the car for Mike Scrivani.

The following are low quality "thumbnailed" images. Click on an image to view a larger version.

To decrease download times the overall "Restoration" section has been subdivided
into multiple sections with only 10 photos per page. If you are new to our site
please start at the beginning, returning visitors may forward to the later sections.

7/2003 - Some items which we were chrome in 1983 were "understandably" painted silver (temporarily). We will come back as $ permits and chrome these "show pieces". Others will be made up which will be on car when it sees competition once again...
(Original style Edmunds left side nerf bar is pictured above. This was bent by present day Autoresearch out in California and welded by us.)

In comparison, we did chrome this also original style Edmunds front bumper. That was also bent for us by Autoresearch - then welded by us. Click HERE to see the loose pipe. Click HERE to see it being tack welded. Once tacked in our shop it was finished being welded at another shop.

Here are some images from an Edmunds catalog that pictures the bumper.

This is an Edmunds 1980's catalog and can be seen in our Online Library.

Just like the master cylinder, the brake calipers were also unable to be rebuilt. These are Airheart calipers and match the originals except for the fact that these are machined instead of cast.

Mounted brake calipers.

Car is COMPLETE.

Well - more like 99.9% complete. There are a few items that are not period correct which we
know we have to go back in and correct and there are some other items that we will need to tweak
after we run the car a few times. But for the most part the car is RESTORED. Now I get to take a
long deserved break, well, not exactly, we are off to the track, see you there...
