Since the car was raced over 2 decades a year had to be chosen to restore the car to - the year chosen was 1983 - the year Nick Fornoro Jr. won the ARDC Championship driving the car for Mike Scrivani.

Mike confirms this is the car.

Stripping old cracked and worn paint off tail. Instead of the later car # which was 22 - the tail will be painted #1 as it was when it won the 1983 ARDC Championship.

 

Removing a few pieces that were added
to the frame following its championship
year. (Example: sissy bars, welded wing mounts,
cross bar mounts, etc.).

by "Powder Craft Inc." http://www.powdercraft.com

Completed: powder coat, dash, gauges, Autoresearch serial # tag, custom made rear shock mounts (aluminum), both lower pans, mounting of seat, starting to work with "dirt" front axle to test fit.
