Due to scarcity - not all equipment on car may be period correct. Certain items
may need to be reproduced or sourced over the next few years. Your help in this

the car was raced over 2 decades a year had to be chosen to restore the car to
- the year chosen was 1983 - the year Nick Fornoro Jr. won the ARDC
Championship driving the car for Mike Scrivani. The
following are low quality "thumbnailed" images. Click on an image to

- K&N was extremely helpful is matching up a current in stock part number
to an older custom made filter back from the 1980's. Though the new filter is
round it easily fits within the oval Autocraft filter housing. The part # of this
filter is: E-2560 (Tell them we sent you) Thanks K&N! | Installed
K&N Filter. As a reminder the Autocraft decal pictured in the photo is For
Sale. (Click Here For Details) |

Here
is a very quality built fuel cut off valve built by Peterson Fluid Systems. (www.petersonfluidsys.com) We
designed and built the bracket in the photo to make this valve easily removable,
protect the valve & fittings, to mount securely and to have a very nice appearance.
(Click on photo see both sides). | Here
is the valve mounted. What is not pictured here is that another tiny shut off
valve has been placed between the tank and this main valve (left side) so that
both can be shut and separated thus easily draining the fuel both from the tank
as well as the car. |

- Here I am assembling one of many, many, many quality Earl's
hose ends, (Pro Tubing & Swivel Hose Ends used). Plumbing the car took approx.
4 full days. Minimal properly sized hose used along with all the proper angled
ends results in a great looking and great performing system. |

Engine
is now complete and in the car!

- Complete engine overhaul and installation is now complete. Click HERE
to view a extensive "Photo Gallery" of the rebuild.
The engine
is scheduled to come alive for the first time since the rebuild at Bridgeport
Speedway's "Big Show III" August 5, 2003, (if the rain hold
out).
The
car will not be competing, (sorry to say), but in turn will be started on the
"dirt" in the pits under controlled conditions to closely monitor the
motor.

Original
master cylinder was unable to be rebuilt. A new one was purchased from Speedway
Motors. | Honestly
Not Staged. This is a single days worth of items dropped off at "Watson Racing's
Receiving Department" (ha ha) during the mad rush to get this project done
so that the car can run at the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing's 2003 Convention
